CHRISTMAS AT COCO'S

Hey! FYI view the "Christmas At Coco's Gallery 4.1 before reading this post! The 4.1 Gallery highlights my living room and dining room Christmas Decor for 2019 and 2020! Several years ago we were in Las Vegas at the Wynn for the National Finals Rodeo. The Wynn used lime green decor with hints of orange and complimented the lime green with vases of orchids with hints of purple and salmon roses and hydrangeas. It was so pretty! After our trip I changed out everything on my dining room table. I added the lime green and orange. However, it was hard to find the correct color of orchids in Midland! So in 2019, I switched from orange to dark red! Red roses are easier to find in Midland! I read an article in a Christmas Design Magazine, and one of the photos pictured a green eucalyptus wreath with a big red bow and hanging from a ling ribbon above a large mirror! I loved that design so much that I copied it in 2019 and hung it over the mirror in my foyer. I also switched everything orange for red! I added more gold and silver Christmas balls to my vases and added white hydrangeas, red roses and Christmas pine. I topped the table with gold satin, shiny gold fabric and lime green and gold sequin runners. I set the table for Christmas Lunch with gold chargers, Lenox Solitaire pattern with the platinum trim, toped with a Lenox Holiday Nouveau Salad plate, and a Lenox Maywood Bread Plate. The glassware included Interglass Italian Vintage Water Goblets, Red Waterford Champagne Flukes, and Green Gorham Wine Glasses. I added gold flatware and shimmery gold napkins to each place settings and Radko Santa Salt and Pepper shakers! The centerpiece included crystal candle sticks, white flameless candles, and six vases filled with flowers. Everyone enjoyed family, the meal and the decor! I love setting the table with my "good stuff," it makes the food taste better especially if you add a good Champagne! Enjoy! Oh and one more thing...several years ago my Mother-in-Law gave me a beautiful Nativity set (see Gallery 4.1). I display it on my buffet in the formal living room. Check it out it's very pretty! The mantle is decorated with lighted greenery, two tall vases filled with glass Christmas balls-red, silver, and gold flanked by three gold candlesticks topped with gold glitter candles. The coffee table with decorated with gold candlesticks and a mixture of glass and metal gold Christmas trees and gold beads. The inside of the front door is decorated with green wreaths with deep red ribbon and the outside of front door is decorated with green wreaths with deep red balls and pine and red berries. Also on the porch are two of the tall skinny pine tree tops with bows and wrapped with lights. I placed them on a rattan "Noel" door mat in 2019 and replaced that with a gold mat in 2020. Next to the trees is an extra large decorative blue and gold Christmas ball that I purchased from Neiman's "on sale" two years ago! The Live Oak tree in front of the house is also wrapped with Christmas lights! I love to decorate for Christmas! I usually start decorating October 1!
